Zuzana Kalinakova (*1982, Slovakia) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts (Mag.art) in 2007. After periods in Ireland and Carinthia, she will live and work in Vienna from 2025.

Her artistic practice is deeply rooted in the medium of paper. A fascination with materiality, structure, and transformation is particularly evident in her delicate paper works, which combine both classical techniques and experimental approaches. In 2019, her works were featured in the retrospective "Paper Collage Between the 20th and 21st Century" at Rosenfeld Palace.

Since 2013, her work has been represented in renowned museums and collections, including the Ateneo de Madrid (Sala Prado), the Collection Électricité de France (Marseille), the Collezione FAVA (Trento), and several private collections across Europe and the USA, including Santa Monica (California), Klagenfurt, and Bleiburg.
